]]> Ben Horton, the artist / owner of $LAVE Skateboards is getting ready to release a new skate film on 9/11. I have been helping him release mini ‘commercials’ by building unique web pages. The way the pages are built, it’s pretty low tech, and the content isn’t about how many skate tricks you can get into a 15 second typical commercial spot. They have a bit of humor, cynicism, and grit that I have always liked about skateboarding.

Just finished updating the ZERO Skateboards and MYSTERY Skateboards product catalogs. Full screen product display. Working with Flash can be a bitch sometimes. I like using Flash, but my skills are limited when it comes to using Actionscript (the code that makes everything slide and fade). Been at it for years, but it always changes, and causes you to constantly learn new things. Such is life I guess.
