Schroff Is Back

Peter Schroff is one of my favorite board shapers / artists. In the early 80s, I was a young buck, but I was really stoked on his design skills and attention to detail. Living in San Diego, I don’t remember seeing his boards around too much; I think either Mitch’s or La Jolla Surf Systems carried them. Looks like I am going to break the bank for one of these this time around.

  2. How about all those trippy shapes he’s make that although were not surfable,(maybe they were, who knows?)were super organic and painted all wild. I remember seeing him surf Lowers back in like… ’86? Wearing a leopard print wetsuit. classic…
