Ran across this photo in the archives. I need to go back to this place. Traded a bunch designs work for a stay at Lalati Resort on Beqa Island. Because I had my son, the Kwasny’s sold the island to someone else, and numerous other reasons, I haven’t returned to cash in my time. Some day.. some day, or maybe never. The long awaited board from Peter Schroff has made it to the polish station. Looks like I might be able to pick it up this weekend. All my surf dreams in the 80s are going to come true 25 years later. Stoked! Thanks M!
Thomas Campbell’s newest surf film, ‘The Present’ is finally obtainable in DVD form. You can get a copy from finer surf shops and other stores online. Thalia Surf Shop has copies available. I did a web banner for the store. Take a look (The banner probably won’t be up for more than a week though!).
Just finished updating the ZERO Skateboards and MYSTERY Skateboards product catalogs. Full screen product display. Working with Flash can be a bitch sometimes. I like using Flash, but my skills are limited when it comes to using Actionscript (the code that makes everything slide and fade). Been at it for years, but it always changes, and causes you to constantly learn new things. Such is life I guess.
