Nett Visual is the portfolio website of Paul Nett. This site consists of recent and past works, as well as interests, and other random notes that I may feel to share from time to time.
I have been designing websites since 2000, and have been doing logos and print work since 1991. My beginning in design was for Free Clothes, a small company Andy Davis started in the early 90s. Mostly doing print and logo design until 2000, I decided to learn how to design websites.
Some of my first websites were for Xanadu Surf Designs, Girl Skateboards, Chocolate Skateboards, Diamond Supply Co., as well as a few other websites until 2003, when I took a position at DC Shoes. Mostly designing in Flash, I was able to work on interesting and engaging campaigns that spanned print, web, and commercials. In 2003, I also began working with Thalia Surf Shop. After a few years working for DC Shoes, in 2005, I made the move to Adio Footwear / Planet Earth Clothing to become the Lead Web Designer. At Adio, I was able to push my Flash and web skills, working with a talented developer, Dennis Vieira. With the downscaling of the company, I found myself looking for new work. I quickly found a position open at Fox Racing. Although only working with Fox for a few months, I learned a lot working with a hard working, talented crew. I live in Oceanside, CA. and given the opportunity to work with Black Box Distribution in Carlsbad was too hard to pass up. At Black Box, I was in charge of multiple websites, as well as launching the Ecommerce store.
